Detail is the new water-based fluoro tail paint from FiL. This replaces the previous Tell Tail tinned product for bulk and brush application,
and can be used in the FiL back pack tail painter. The water-based product makes cleaning of brushes and equipment much easier, and the fluoro colours are more visible. Detail dries equally fast as Tell Tail(about 5 min), but being non-solvent based it is less irritant to severely rubbed cows.

4 Litre tin of Tail Paint
Although the applicators are very popular, the old brush-and-tin method of application still has many advantages.
Not only is it more economical, it can also be quicker to use, especially in large dairies
where one person can move quickly along the row painting tail bones. An old ice cream container is ideal, along with a cheap disposable brush.
Oil-based, but just stand brushes in water overnight and they can be used again.
Average use will create about 80-100 tail marks per litre of paint.
